Biting your nails – Integral Health Coaching.

If I bite my nails, this indicates a very great inner nervousness. This can also be a deep insecurity of not feeling capable of being or doing what is expected of me.

If it is a child, this can manifest the presence of resentment or frustration towards one of the parents, this situation can also occur when I have become an adult.

I may feel unable to assume and be self-sufficient, and I want others to take care of me. I can also hint at an imminent overflow of unexpressed emotions.

BIOLOGICAL SENSE: Our fingernails are a remnant of “claws.” The biological meaning of onychophagy is to pull out its claws to prevent itself from attacking.

CONFLICT:

Impotence conflict. Nervousness about something that I would like to attack, but cannot or should not attack. I must not cling, dig, be aggressive, or mark my territory. Detach from the mother. Fear of scratching the surface and discovering something unpleasant. Fear of burying someone or being buried (search in transgenerational, possible “ghost” in transgenerational terminology). Observe the moment in which it happens and in the presence of whom or what situation. Conflict of anger and rage towards one of the parents.
