/p>vodafone launches a new product within its family of connected terminals V by Vodafone, the smart bracelet for the elderly V-SOS Bandwhich allows families to be connected with their elders and for up to 4 contacts to receive notifications in case of emergency.
This bracelet allows receive immediate notifications when the elder needs help: the user with the V-SOS Band can request help directly and immediately from their relatives, simply pressing the SOS button for 3 seconds.
As soon as a family member becomes aware of the incident, the bracelet will change color letting the elder know that help is on the way.
Besides, the bracelet automatically sends a notice to the mobile of the relatives, in case detect movement that may indicate a fall.
In the event that the elder needs help, in addition to receiving the notification, the relatives will know the exact location where the largest is located thanks to GPS and the Vodafone network.
On the other hand, relatives will receive a notice if after an hour the bracelet does not detect any type of movement or activity, since it could be that the older one had taken it away. In the same way, both the elder and the relatives will receive notices when the bracelet need to recharge.
With this terminal, Vodafone has opted for a technology adapted with a simple use system and modern design. V-SOS Band is waterproof (IP67), has inactivity sensorsa average autonomy of 1 month and a system of wireless charging which, in 2 hours, allows the bracelet to fully recharge the battery.
Two applications are required for its use. On the one hand, V by Vodafoneto activate and manage the monthly subscription of the service and customer service, and on the other, V-SOS Bandto receive and manage all the information related to the elderly.
