Birthday Day is a new beginning, as the cycle of each lifestream completes one circuit every three hundred and sixty-five days, and the energy of the individual world closes the circle of experience on the day preceding one’s birthday. Cony Garrido who is a Khan Yoga and meditation Instructor since 1978; journalist, writer, professor and speaker, explains to us what a birthday means from a spiritual point of view.
As we already know, the day of our birthday, the stars are like the day we were born, that is why it is said that it is like a “rebirth to life” or like “a new dawn”. Having a birthday means closing a new circle of life. To fulfill comes from the Latin “complere” which means “to fill completely, complete”.
On the spiritual plane, “birthday” would be like going one more turn in an ascending spiral, it may seem like a flat circle in which we repeat ourselves; but if we consider the transpersonal dimension, that circle is really like a spring, grown from the ground towards the sky.
Spiritual recommendations for this special day
Every year is a turn, but it can also be every season, every month, every day, every hour. At each turn a little more lucidity, freedom, maturity. For this reason, this day is recommended:
1. Wear white to receive the energy of this new cycle.
2. Make a special prayer with candles and white flowers, as well as incense to fill this new path or this new stage of your life with light.
