We have to love, and love begins with oneself, to love and care for ourselves in order to love and care for someone else. The path of life is teaching us that we have to accept ourselves, balance ourselves, be well in our earthly-human life, in order to be able to love the other as oneself.
I want to share this beautiful prayer that tells us about self-esteem and self-love, it is an excerpt from the book “The Mastery of Love” by Dr. Miguel Ruiz.
Prayer of love to myself
Today, I accept myself as I am, without judging myself.
I accept my spirit as it is, with all my emotions
all my hopes and dreams,
my personality, my unique way of being.
I accept my body as it is in all its beauty and perfection.
That the love that I feel towards me Be so strong that you never reject me
nor sabotage my happiness, my freedom and my love.
From now on, that each of my actions,
reactions, thoughts and emotions,
is founded on love.
I increase my love for myself
Until all my life’s dream is transformed
