From the individual to the general environment: the Enric Corbera Institute will be at the 1st Meeting of Young Porteños for Climate Action

The environment is an issue as important as it is urgent for many young people around the world. Witnesses of natural catastrophes that are already beginning to show the consequences of climate change, the new generations have made caring for the environment an issue that is as personal as it is social. They commit, participate, raise their voices, disseminate information, and take action!

This year, the City of Buenos Aires (Argentina) will be a meeting point for them. More than 500 young people will meet on September 11 in the framework of the First Meeting of Young Porteños for Climate Actionan event organized by the Sustainability Without Borders Foundation (SSF) and the Environmental Protection Agency (APRA).

That day, they will be able to listen to important and motivating references, such as Sara Pallarés, CEO of the an educational organization formed by a team of professionals from different scientific and humanistic disciplines, dedicated to the Bioneuroemotion®, a new vision of well-being, in accordance with the current reality of our world. Well, this movement, which exists among young people, also corresponds to the search for new ways of facing life and understanding the world.

The CEO of the Enric Corbera Institute will emphasize the relationship between ecological awareness and a state of consciousness, since to understand the importance of the environment it is necessary to develop a mental state that allows us to understand that we are not separated from anything that surrounds us. Only in this way is it possible to understand that taking care of nature is also taking care of ourselves.

In addition, behind the pollution and the changes that we are experiencing in nature as we know it, is the challenge of taking these situations as a motor and signal to make a profound and personal change that leads us to adopt a different way of life; something that is usually very present as an aspiration of many young people eager to see, be part of and build a better world.

For this reason, Sara will also speak about the importance of caring for each one’s particular environment, the one that we also inhabit when relating to others and in which, many times, we establish links that are also polluting, toxic or unbalanced.

understand the ecological awareness from the micro-system to the macro-system, can help us to take responsibility for our lives and for what we see around us. Well, behind every ecological movement there is an emotion that is generated through a perception and an interpretation of what happens around us.

Young people will take this exhibition by the Enric Corbera Institute, an exercise in introspection, self-awareness and self-inquiry to rethink the “why”, that is, the ultimate purpose of caring for the environment.
