With the aim of providing a training and practical tool, the Spanish Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (SEGG) teaches a free online course for caregivers of elderly people in a situation of dependency that helps provide basic care to the elderly, guaranteeing its quality. and their continuity.
This course, which can be taken until the end of this year, is a training tool whose main objective is provide knowledge and skillsreinforce self-esteem and give security to the caregiver, when it comes to providing care to the elderly.
With simple language, this course is a document that, in an informative, educational and informative way, but also based on scientific evidence, collects the care that worries caregivers the most non-professionals of dependent elderly people. In this way it is about help with daily careoffering caregivers specific training in care skills and helping to solve clearly, and with simple illustrations, the difficulties involved in caring for an elderly person.

At the end of the course and once you have completed some self-assessment questions, you will be able to obtain the Certificate accrediting having completed the Course with the Seal of Teaching Quality granted by the Spanish Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology.
