What do we need?
- 220 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g cold butter, cut into pieces

- 170g sugar
- 100 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 large egg
- A teaspoon of vanilla essence
Step by Step
- Sift the flour with the help of a sieve, add the baking powder and mix.
- Using a mixer, mix the butter with a pinch of salt and sugar until you achieve a homogeneous texture.
- Add a tablespoon of flour and continue beating, then another tablespoon and so on until all the flour is incorporated.
- Add the cocoa powder, a pinch of salt and the vanilla essence
- Beat an egg and add it to the first container and mix. Add a tablespoon of flour and beat with the mixer. Then another tablespoon like this until you incorporate all the flour.
- Beat the egg in a separate cup and add it to the previous mixture.
- Beat the mixture again and let it rest for 10 minutes in the microwave.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to medium heat and prepare a greased and floured baking tray, this will help prevent the dough from sticking to the tray.
- Take out the dough and add a little flour on a flat surface.
- Stretch the dough with the help of a rolling pin.
- Cut the shape you like best, it can be in the shape of a drop, circle, star, square.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges appear to be lightly toasted.
- Let it rest and decorate as you like.
Toppings: You can decorate it with dulce de leche, white, dark, bitter chocolate, peanut crunchies, crushed nuts, lemon or orange glaze, etc.
