Cáceres has had a new physical and neurological rehabilitation center since September 23, the Casaverde Clinic, which cares for people who have suffered some type of brain damage, spinal cord injury or who require physical rehabilitation and which also has a children’s area adapted to this group. The reference hospital for the clinic is the Casaverde Extremadura Rehabilitation Hospital, based in Mérida.
The inauguration ceremony of the Casaverde Clinic in Cáceres was attended by Guillermo Fernández Vara, president of the Junta de Extremadura, Luis Salaya Julián, mayor of the city of Cáceres and representatives of different regional, provincial, local institutions and entities related to the world of health, as well as professionals of the sector of recognized prestige.

During the presentation, the president of the association expressed the need to invest in health: “We have one of the best healthcare systems in the world and it is clear that the rehabilitation and recovery of patients is becoming increasingly important. The person should aspire to be the best possible after going through an illness “. In this sense, the mayor of the city of Cáceres underlined the importance of the Casaverde Clinic opening in this city, because it will help to have quality treatment nearby, with the aim that patients recover as much normality as possible: “It gives us a lot of security to know that we have this clinic here”.
He highlighted the intervention of President of the Casaverde Group, who emphasized how important it is to get to Cáceres, after the important steps previously taken with the Mérida Rehabilitation Hospital and the Badajoz Clinic: “Our commitment to Extremadura society is extended and strengthened to offer quality rehabilitation”.

This new center is added to the Hospital Casaverde Extremadura and to the one that supposes to reaffirm the commitment of the group with the society of Extremadura.
