Definition
Deformity of the big toe that rises above the second and causes a bunion, which is a bony proliferation (painful lump) located in the toe joint.

Definition
If I have a bunion, which is a deformation of the thumb, there is a conflict at a very deep level. This part of the foot corresponds to the period of a few weeks after conception and indicates a weakness in the commitment to really be here (in life).
Bunion Insights
A bunion usually appears at the time of living a relationship with a partner or a parent that I find very domineering. By letting the other make the decisions, I escape my responsibility for my own decisions. The expression “take care of your business” expresses well the fact that I find that people around me take care of my things and that this is not their concern, unless I am the one who takes care of other people’s business. A bunion can disappear if I assume my responsibilities, thus allowing me to live my life fully.
