It is a center that has 24 places for residents and another 20 for day stay units which has about 2,400 meters of constructed building, state-of-the-art equipment in terms of physiotherapy, a heated pool for adapted hydrotherapy and fully automated rooms, among other facilities.
“After many years of work, this dream that began to take shape in 2003 with the transfer of the land by the Jaén City Council and thanks to the joint work with the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, COCEMFE, Provincial Council, sees the light of day. of Jaén and Ministry of Equality and Social Policies”they comment from ASPRAMIF.
Your president, Ricardo Rocio Blancoassured at the opening ceremony that the center “It is designed not only for people with disabilities to reside, but also for them to be able to work in it”and added that it offers unique services in Jaén of physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, magnetotherapy, laser therapy… highlighting the therapeutic pool “because in Jaén it is very difficult to find one that meets the requirements that people with disabilities need”.
The president of COCEMFE, Anxo Queirugawas also present at this event, where he stressed that “At COCEMFE we are proud to have collaborated with to make it possible for Jaén to have a residence and day center for people with severe disabilities today and we thank all the administrations that have collaborated to achieve it”.
