A satellite image revealed a strange… black hole in the sea?

The planet is so vast that man has not had the opportunity to explore it in its entirety, there are still many mysteries to solve. But with current technology it is easier to have ways to observe remote sites even in the comfort of our seat. Satellite images came to change the limits of space-time and Internet users have been able to take advantage of it very well. Recently, an Internet user discovered, on the famous location platform Google Maps, a very strange creature in the middle of the sea and unleashed conundrums among Internet users.

The user in question published an image of the strange black hole in the middle of the sea, a phenomenon that baffled all those who observed it. And although initially the user did not share the coordinates of the place, Internet users investigated the possible causes of why such an object appears that could border on the gruesome.

Among the theories that abounded in this whole matter, one stood out that seemed to comply with the logic of the platform. Many web users speculated that it is actually an island and that the Google service itself would have obscured the site. Although the reasons behind Google’s alleged censorship were not clear yet. So curious people continued to appear and tried to make the strange image more feasible.

They finally solved the mystery

As we have said before, the discoverer of the black hole in the middle of the sea did not give the exact location of the place. But it is enough to plant an idea on the web for someone else to cultivate it until it bears fruit. After a while, a new Internet user finally found the exact coordinates from which the image was taken. And he also gave a more viable explanation that would solve the mystery around the case.

According to the latest version, the black hole in the middle of the sea is nothing more than an island with a very peculiar optical illusion. Apparently the object appears that color thanks to the large vegetative biomass that lives on the surface of the island, giving it the appearance of a black hole. However, there was nothing strange about this site, the satellite image simply played a great and very fortuitous joke on Internet users.

Apparently the amount of weeds in the image in question is such that it completely obscures the center of the island. The reality is that there is nothing strange about this place, which we now know is uninhabited and is called Vostok. The small island is located in the central Pacific Ocean and is part of the Republic of Kiribati.

Although nothing strange happened on this occasion, we must remember that the planet is so vast that there are places that are worthy of curiosity. The gate to hell, the Mariana Trenches or the hottest place on Earth are just some of them.
