Why doesn’t my partner want to have sex with me?

Hello Alisson.
I had a very similar experience, it was my second relationship, I was 19 years old and he was 26.
Every time we went out I counted the hours to go home and have sex, I lived alone, but he wasn’t interested, that’s how it all started.
I tried to justify his behavior to myself, I thought he wanted to show that he was a gentleman, or that he was interested in spending more time with me outside the bedroom, so I didn’t break up with him.
After months I had to confront him because nothing changed, he told me that was like that, that he was not that interested in sex, I suffered a lot, but it seemed to me that he was honest, and since he was an impeccable boy in all other aspects, I decided to continue with the relationship.
Things got worse, we went from doing it once a week, to once every 15 days, then once a month, where from time to time I explained to him how I felt and how miserable as a woman his lack of interest made me feel. , I told him that the day was going to come that I was going to start seeing him as a brother, or as a family member.
The situation continued to get worse, and after 8 years of my relationship with him, we went up to 9 months without sex, until I decided to end it.
What I am telling briefly was 8 years of practically psychological torture, in which I turned to the other side of the bed and began to cry, in which I tried everything and nothing worked, in which I had to grow as a woman to That this situation did not lower my self-esteem or destroy me, it was desperation and pain like no other.
I wouldn’t advise anyone to go through the same thing.
Sex is more than sex when you love, one needs to touch the other, have that closeness, connect, feel that wonderful experience, share love.
I’m sure you can find another person who enjoys and wants to have relations with you, you are too young to condemn yourself.
I send you a lot of strength and positive energy, I hope everything changes for you.
