The GSK factory in Aranda de Duero is a Brain Protected Space

The ICTUS Brake Foundation has granted the production plant of the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in Aranda de Duero the certification as “Brain-protected space” after implementing online training whose purpose is to allow identification, stabilization and action in the event of a stroke in their workplace or in their family and social environment.

Specifically, the project has consisted of the training of 30% of the plant staff of GSK in Aranda de Duero, representing 200 employees of the factory trained and prepared to identify and act in case of stroke. In this way, the GSK plant in Aranda de Duero becomes the first factory to achieve such recognitionachieving coverage of trained personnel in the event of a stroke in the three shifts at the factory and in the weekend shift.
