Learn to think about yourself

In life it is important learn to think about yourself. The reality is that self-knowledge helps you live fully, however, many people have grown up with the mistaken idea that thinking about themselves is synonymous with selfishness and vanity. Nothing could be further from the truth, only to the extent that you learn that your happiness is your main goal in life can you also learn to be happier and better every day.

Identify priorities

Learn to think about yourself but always being clear about the north of reality. That is, you must understand that in many moments you must also give in for the well-being of others or understand that your goals are secondary before another more priority good. This can happen to you, for example, when you have a sick family member in the hospital who is not feeling well. It is clear that in a situation of this type, the health of the other is essential for you. Therefore, work and personal goals that you may have set for yourself become a minimum necessity for you.

Do what makes you feel good

Learn to really think about yourself whenever you can. Absolute selfishness finds its limit in sincere affection and love, and when you truly love someone you want the other’s good above your own. Your emotions help you know yourself better than you think. When you do something that makes you feel good, then you experience joy, enthusiasm and strength.

On the other hand, when you do something that takes you away from your own well-being then you find yourself with apathy, sadness and pain. Learn to live fully with the certainty of knowing that you must reveal the path of life to the rhythm of strength, enthusiasm and the desire to know the truth of your destiny.
