This healthy food is excellent for those people who take care of themselves and their physical appearance, all while still enjoying the flavor of what they eat.
What do we need?
2 cups instant oatmeal
1 ¼ cup coconut milk, almond milk or your favorite milk
1 medium egg
1 medium banana
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 sachet of stevia, honey or muscovado sugar to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, optional
Spray oil or butter to butter the pan.
Preparation
Blend the oats until they have the consistency of flour.
Add the coconut or almond milk, banana, cinnamon, vanilla, stevia or sugar, baking powder, egg and blend until there are no lumps.
Grease a frying pan with oil and pour a cup of the mixture for each waffle.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side over medium heat. Flip when bubbles are seen on the surface and the edge of the waffle looks cooked and more opaque.
Serve with honey, jam or your favorite topping.
