How can I help my son…he took LSD and has mental disorders. He feels like a superior being who knows everything. He doesn’t accept help of any kind. He has become violent…Is there any treatment to make his brain function normally again?

He possibly suffers from Narcissistic Disorder, and no, his brain is doing fine, he just needs psychological help for his disorder and drugs.

I would like to know how to help my partner and father of my baby.
He has an addiction to anything that gets him high but now he is consuming base paste and it makes me very mortified. I don’t know what to do since his family had him in a rehabilitation center and when he came out it was the same again. We don’t live together and his mother. He always tells me that he starts drinking and sleeps on the street. When I asked him why he doesn’t come home, he answers that he likes the street and that life where he doesn’t have to work and consumes the same.
Can this person really get off drugs or should I and my baby stay away from him for good?

I have a husband who is addicted to cocaine and opiates, but he keeps lying to us, he is supposed to be under treatment with the UCA, but he treats us like fools. He is manipulative, violent, aggressive and does not allow himself to be helped, I took him to a psychiatrist and he watched what I said and in the street he threatened me for the things I had said to the psychiatrist and it is a mess…I don’t see a solution, The only solution would be to admit him to a center for a while… but there is no way… he is becoming more and more aggressive, although it has been going on for days and I no longer know what I should do with this person…

Good afternoon, I would like to get some advice since I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years but after six months of meeting him he confessed to me that he was a drug addict and decided to support him because I have the illusion that tomorrow he will be fine but in reality I already feel very tired because he always comes back again it lasts 1 or 2 months well and then one night and that’s the routine again and I complain the next day and he tells me to forgive him that he only has me and that it’s not for me carried away by drugs. Dear María, you are neither the cause nor the solution to your son’s problem and even less do you have control over his attitudes. Go to a support group for families of addicts. You have to strengthen yourself to set limits and let Adrián take responsibility for them. his actions…only he can take care of his illness.
