How to clean floors with vinegar

The first, and fundamental, is to use a floor mop that is not corrosive because it can discolor. It must be mixed half a cup of vinegar in a bucket of cold water, moisten the mop and pass it from right to left, without letting the tiles soak. The last step is to open the windows to let the air flow and dry.

It is recommended always handle vinegar with gloves to prevent the smell from getting on your hands. Likewise, one way to reduce it and make the vinegar aroma not so strong is to mix it with other products:

  • With lemon or orange: Mix 1 and 1/2 cups of alcohol vinegar, 1/2 cup of water, 8 drops of lemon or orange in a bottle. It is advisable to transfer this mixture to a spray to spray the windows.
  • With olive oil and spices: mix a cup of alcohol vinegar, 1 cup of olive oil and 15 drops of arborvitae. Another mixture is 1/4 cup fractionated coconut oil, 1/4 cup white vinegar and add 5 to 10 drops of Eucalyptus oil.
  • With essential oils: Mix 1 and 3/4 cups of water, 1/4 cup of spirit vinegar and up to 15 drops of essential oils such as lavender and lemon, eucalyptus, peppermint, wild orange, and grapefruit.
  • With baking soda and tea tree: Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda, 10 drops of Melaleuca (Tea Tree) and 1/4 cup of white vinegar.
