HM Hospitales will build a new hospital in Rivas Vaciamadrid

HM Hospitales will build a new hospital center in the Madrid municipality of Rivas Vaciamadrid, for which it has acquired a 4,500-square-meter plot of land from the company Promored.

The budget foreseen by him for the construction of this sanitary complex, which will be called HM Rivas Hospitalround the 20 million euros and it will be a general medical-surgical hospital that will have all the medical specialtiesincluding pediatric care, will have between 80 and 100 beds and will be equipped with a state-of-the-art surgical block made up of 5 operating rooms, ICU, 24-hour emergency room, laboratory and hospital pharmacy.

One of the main characteristics that will define the HM Rivas Hospital is that it will have a technological endowment of state-of-the-art diagnostic imagingn, allocating more than 1,000m2 of the center’s facilities for this purpose. In total, the HM Rivas Hospital will have facilities of around 10,000m2. HM Hospitales aims to start the construction works in 2020 and their completion is expected in end of 2021.

With the start-up of this health center, HM Hospitales will have almost 30 care centers, including hospitals and polyclinics, in the Community of Madrid. Thus, the HM Rivas Hospital would become the eighth hospital of the Group in Madrid after the university hospitals HM Madrid, HM Sanchinarro, HM Montepríncipe, HM Puerta del Sur, HM Nuevo Belén, HM Torrelodones and HM Vallés.

The private hospital group HM Hospitales currently has more than 4,800 workers and is made up of 41 care centers: 16 hospitals, 4 highly specialized comprehensive centers in Oncology, Cardiology, Neurosciences and Fertility, as well as 21 polyclinics.
