Enuresis or urinary incontinence – Integral Health Coaching.

The fact that the child urinates in the bed, without control, during the night, indicates that he represses himself a lot during the day and that he can no longer control himself. He is the type of child who is afraid of authority, especially the parent or the person who fills that role. This does not necessarily mean that he physically fears you. Rather, he is afraid of upsetting him, of not living up to his expectations.

For this child, upsetting that person would be as painful as the shame he feels when wetting the bed.

CONFLICT: Brutal separation conflict.

RESENT: “Dad won’t take care of me anymore.” “I feel separated from my father”

This uncontrollable and unconscious release of negative emotions that urine represents can be a means of receiving more attention and affection. The underlying cause of this may be a feeling of rejection, of being worthless, of insecurity, of being afraid of the future.

Urine represents negative emotions normally released when they are no longer needed or wanted. This often nocturnal release indicates a conflict at a deeper level and of which I am not even aware.

Being unable to “control” the loss of urine, I am unable to control what happens in my life, particularly the emotions, and this scares me.

It is important that these inner fears and insecurities are expressed. I can also let go of things or people I love too easily, without having the courage or strength to go looking for what I want.

Great fear or nervousness can also cause incontinence.

To this child, who demands a lot from himself, the fact of telling him that he is good, the fact of valuing his talents and repeating to him that, even if he is wrong, his parents will still love him, will help him believe it and make him relax. . It is recommended that the child verify if what he believes regarding the expectations of his parents is really true.
