It is carried out through a reasoning process that interprets and assigns meaning to the perceived facts and, in addition, gives them an assessment depending on:

The mind gathers the perceived sensory information, evaluates and organizes it, taking as reference the information stored in memory (knowledge, memories, beliefs, past experiences, motivations, expectations) and using various cognitive operators (logical, semantic, inductive, deductive, comparative).
