Difference between curing and healing – Integral Health Coaching.

Understanding the difference between curing and healing is essential to achieve the state of fulfillment that we dream of in our lives. Unfortunately, we grow up convinced that health and well-being are only achieved by keeping the body away from disease; however, very often we neglect the mental and emotional aspects that are also part of our being.

Man is an indivisible entity, composed of body, mind and spirit; if one of the parts has been damaged, it will inevitably affect the others. That is why it is essential to attend not only to the healing of physical ailments or symptoms, but also to deal with healing emotional wounds.

What is the difference between cure and healing?

A person can be in perfect physical shape, with a strong immune system, all healthy organs and relative psychological stability. In fact, you may have gotten sick at some point in the not too distant future, but then you managed to cure yourself with laboratory drugs or a specific treatment from your GP.

However, there may be something that is preventing you from developing to your full potential. You may feel limited, but you don’t know why; or, without explanation, she is sad, discouraged, angry, or resentful. In the medium and long term, this internal imbalance ends up reducing their quality of life.

And this can come from a latent discomfort that needs attention, and that is related to unresolved traumas and/or inhibited emotions. This is where the need for healing comes into play, which is based on an enormous interior work focused on a correct channeling of the emotions, feelings and ideas that one carries. Unfortunately, formal education does not prepare us to deal with all this, nor is it often openly discussed within the home.

Unlike what happens with healing, which is external (it materializes in devices, medication, training that the person receives), and which is directed at visible symptoms, healing is internal and points to rather unconscious processes. As unconscious, it is often ignored, in such a way that we get used to living without it… in other words, to living wounded and in chains.

Now, how can we heal from the inside when we are not able to detect, by ourselves, all that weighs us down so much? Biodecoding is offering us an answer.

Through continuous training and directed reflection, we immerse ourselves in a deep journey of self-knowledge to discover the traumas we inherited, the guilt we carry, the fears that were instilled in us, and the forgiveness that we need to give.

activates internal mechanisms of change that allow us to see life with another approach and express our emotions in the correct way. Thus, we will have genuinely healed, which will allow us to be at peace with ourselves and with those around us.

Heal the body, heal the soul: here is the key to the balance and happiness that we so long for. Achieving it is not impossible, but it is necessary to take the bull by the horns and take charge of the responsibility we have for our own being.
