Take two minutes (especially today, which is Monday) to watch this time-lapse compilation of yawning petals, pistils and stamens rising as the flowers reach their peak of existence. Created by Czech photographer Katka Pruskova, the video will fill you with awe.
Although flowers are the most represented subject in time-lapse videos, this video takes them to a new level. Perhaps because of its “homemade” aesthetic (since each of these was taken from the same photographer’s garden) or because of the specific emphasis of the images – and not on an open landscape – there is something in the video that is very worthwhile.
