XIII Conference of the Spanish Society of Palliative Care

The Spanish Society for Palliative Care (Secpal), in collaboration with the Galician Society of Palliative Care, celebrates its XIII International Conference, on this occasion under the motto “Adequacy of care”, on October 25 and 26, 2019 at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Galicia, in Santiago de Compostela.

The XIII International Conference of the Spanish Society of Palliative Care will be held under the motto “Adequacy of care”

As stated by Dr. Marcelino Mosquera, President of the Organizing Committee of the XIII International Conference 2019 «Caring for the palliative patient in its many aspects is a challenge for all of us who dedicate ourselves to this task. At the same time, this challenge can be transformed into an excellent opportunity to adapt said care and carry out those actions, both diagnostic and therapeutic, that are in accordance with the situation in which the patient finds himself at that moment.”.

In this sense, this forum will try to vindicate the determining role that Palliative Care must play in caring for this type of patient, its contributions and advances at a scientific and professional level.
