What does a Nestlé Carlos V chocolate contain? (BONE SCAN)

Chocolate is delicious and has properties that can even make you happy. However, in its industrial version, many brands make disproportionate use of other ingredients and disguise their products as chocolate. As part of the x-rays carried out by the organization El Poder del Consumidor we present to you on this occasion a breakdown of the content of the well-known Nestlé Carlos V chocolate in a 22 g bar.

Its main harmful ingredients are sugar and fat (due to the large quantities it contains).

Sugar:

Its amount of sugar content is 13.4g, which is equivalent to up to 72% of all the sugar that a child needs in an entire day. In the case of adults it is 54% of the daily tolerable sugar.

In total 60% of the entire product is sugar.

Fat:

It contains 5.4 g of fat, just over a full teaspoon. Of this fat, 65% is saturated fat (the most difficult for the body to process).

Thus, its main ingredient is sugar, and cocoa is reflected until its fourth ingredient.

Other ingredients:

Sugar, milk solids and butterfat, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, vegetable fat soy lecithin, polyricinoleate polyglycerol and artificial flavor.
