The NeuronUP rehabilitation and cognitive stimulation platform already has more than 2,000 users –

/p>the web platform NeuronUPwhich offers support to professionals involved in the processes of rehabilitation and cognitive stimulation of people with brain damage, Alzheimer’s, ADHD, Parkinson’s, language disorders, disability, multiple sclerosis…, has already exceeded 2,000 users in the 12 countries in which it is implemented.

Created four years ago in La Rioja, on this platform professionals can find multiple exercises of daily life with various levels of difficultywhich are available through the computer, touch screen or simply to be done with pencil and paper.
Hosted in a system cloud computing, NeuronUP offers numerous material and resources to design sessions, as well as a patient manager. The objective is to offer the user the maximum customization of treatment through exercises that work memory, attention, gnosias, executive functions, praxis, language, social cognition and visuospatial abilities.
As stated Iñigo Fernandez de PierolaCEO at NeuronUP, “reaching more than 2,000 professionals and, through them, thousands of people with diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative diseases… has been a challenge. Our goal is, and has been, to offer numerous exercises that become a Fundamental support for professionals involved in cognitive rehabilitation and stimulation processes. Now we are working on specialization, which is why the last project has been a plan designed especially for children, called NeuronUP Kids.
For the CEO at NeuronUP “the key that convinces professionals to use NeuronUP is the wide variety of activities offered and the distribution by functions and processes. This marks our line of growth and the launch of new activity plans”.
Professionals from SARquavitae, Sanitas, Hospital Ruber Internacional, Clínica Universitaria de Navarra, the Community of Madrid, Imserso or CRE Alzheimer already work with . Precisely Alzheimer’s, brain damage and multiple sclerosis patients are a priority for NeuronUP and for this reason it collaborates with the Spanish Confederation of Associations of Alzheimer’s Relatives (CEAFA), with the Spanish Federation of Brain Injury (FEDACE) and with Multiple Sclerosis Spain. In Spain it is estimated that 800,000 people suffer from Alzheimer’s, 420,000 live with acquired brain damage and 50,000 suffer from multiple sclerosis.
