The complete calendar of national holidays in 2023

Furthermore, there will be four extra long weekends to encourage domestic tourism: from Saturday, February 18 to Tuesday, February 21 -Carnival-; from Thursday, May 25 to Sunday, May 28; from Saturday June 17 to Tuesday June 20; and from Friday the 13th to Monday the 16th of October.

Three holidays will fall on Sunday and will be immovable. One of them was on January 1st and is accompanied by April 2nd and July 9th. The Passage to the Immortality of General Don Martín Miguel de Güemes, which is commemorated on June 17, falls on a Saturday but is transferable.

The year 2023 will have 19 holidays, confirmed the national government. Of them, 14 will be immovable, two moveable and three for tourist purposes.
