The Research and Innovation Center was created in 2010 in order to support the development of research activities in the Clinic Quirónsalud Group.
It is the area in charge of managing the research policies and strategies established in the Clinic by the research committee, for the construction of the institutional inventive capacity. Its main function is to coordinate the tactical level of the investigation through the planning, organization, direction and control of the investigation processes that involve all areas of the Institution.
To fulfill this function, there is the Research unit and development and the Clinical Research UnitIn addition to a support office for research groups and centers, we also have two lines of action: research sponsored by the industry and institutional research, which promotes the scientific production of our professionals.
The Institute has a multidisciplinary group of doctors specialists, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, clinical study coordinators and administrative support personnel with the necessary experience to develop research projectsboth national and international, as well as in indexed journals, following the highest quality standards.
Since its creation, they have developed 143 studies sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry in different clinical specialties such as oncology, infectious diseases, cardiology, pediatrics, ophthalmology and orthopedics, among others.
