What do we need?
- 1kg. of potatoes
- 1/2kg. minced beef
- 1 onion
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 broth cube
- garlic powder
- peppers
- 25g. of butter
- 1 splash of milk
- nutmeg
- oil
- salt
- pepper
Step by Step
1) Cut the potatoes into cubes and boil them with salt.
2) Chop the onion, garlic and bell pepper.
3) Heat the oil in a pot or frying pan and sauté the onion, pepper and garlic.
4) When the onion is transparent, add the meat and fry it while breaking it down with a spoon.
5) Season with salt and pepper, add the stock cube, garlic powder, paprika and cook the meat for 15 minutes.
6) Once the potatoes are boiled, make a hot mash with the butter and milk. Season.
7) Put a base of puree in a baking dish, add the meat on top (let it warm up a little) and place another layer of puree. To distribute it, wet the spoon with cold water.
8) Bake in a strong oven or broiler for about 15-20 minutes. or until top is crispy.
9) A chopped egg, chopped green olives or raisins can be added to the meat filling.
