MOM GETS TIRED TOO |

Being a mother is a difficult, exciting, and full-time job. While taking care of the needs of their children, mothers also deal with the emotional and physical burden of motherhood. They often feel overwhelmed, tired, and angry, and sometimes they just want to go away. However, before judging a mother for her feelings, it is important to remember that she too is a human being who needs support and recognition.

The role of mothers in society has changed significantly in recent decades. Whereas women were once expected to stay at home and care for children, today many mothers work outside the home and face a double workload. In addition to taking care of their children, they must also meet their work and home responsibilities. This can be exhausting and sometimes lead to feelings of stress and frustration.

Below, I share with you a reflection that invites you to review your perspective on motherhood. It is important that we recognize the importance of supporting and acknowledging mothers.

A mom gets tired too

A mom gets tired too. It makes you want to sit for a while. A bit of silence.
It’s not laziness, it’s the body that is already on the edge.
Dream. Hunger. You miss time for yourself.
It’s not a complaint, it’s your inner self knocking on the door, wanting just a little time.

A mom loves and that’s why she continues. But mom gets tired. It makes you want to take a long shower. To do your homework without worries. There are times when mom wants to clean the house and she can’t. A visitor arrives and she must think: what a disorganized mother.
But mom is tired. She didn’t sleep last night. She barely ate yesterday.

Mom likes a tidy house. The son bathed. The meal ready. All good.
But mom gets tired. And her mom continues because she loves.
He loves to see the little hands. She loves kisses. He loves smiles. And so, mom continues.
But mom also needs to be loved. She needs to be supported. She needs a little understanding.

A hug at the right time. A hot meal. A call.
Because mom gets tired, but she doesn’t give up. Because mom is strong and brave.
Mom is the perfect example of unconditional love. She gives her best every day.
But she’s also human, and sometimes she needs a break.

And when night comes, Mom collapses on the bed. She closes her eyes and thinks about everything she did that day. A smile appears on her face.
Because despite the fatigue, difficulties and stress, being a mother is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to her. It is his greatest achievement, his greatest joy and his greatest love.

I hope you liked this reflection and remember that before judging mom, it is important to offer her support and recognition and understanding. By doing so, we can help mothers feel valued and supported, and work together as a society to ease the burden of motherhood. This may include offering empathetic listening, helping with chores, or simply giving you a space to relax and unwind.

So the next time you see your mom tired, go up to her and give her a hug. Tell her that everything she makes of her is valuable and that you are grateful to her. Mom also needs love and care. Because mom gets tired too.

Mom also gets tired, she also gets angry and sometimes she wants to disappear. So before judging her, help her, because whoever takes care of everyone also needs to be taken care of.
