Meditation to naturalize your emotions and find peace in them

Avoiding feeling emotions is the main cause of our suffering, our addictions and our diseases, and it is also something that I constantly witness in my meditative therapy sessions, through different unconscious escape strategies. Meditation can help us connect and naturalize those emotions.

Why do we run away from emotions?

The reason for this is that There are emotions that hurt and are tremendously uncomfortable, so we try to distract ourselves from them so as not to feel their discomfort.

Another reason is that we have integrated certain social beliefs in relation to what is correct for us to feel and what is unacceptable, which leads us to reject certain emotions so as not to fall into the social label associated with them. In this case, escape strategies from these emotions often appear in the form of shame or guilt.

It’s okay to feel exactly what you’re feeling

It’s okay to feel exactly what you’re feeling, yes. Close your eyes and take a moment to integrate this. How does it resonate with you?

we all need to hear and integrate this, and I have created this guided meditation to support you in feeling that all your emotions are okay just the way they are and that it is natural and necessary for you to feel and welcome them into yourself. When you feel your emotions as something natural, you open yourself to being part of the whole, of the vital energy that passes through all beings, and you can feel that what happens and how it happens, is on your side.

Besides, there is something very powerful in attributing to your inner landscape the beauty that you can feel through the observation of a natural landscape. When you do, you accept yourself and give yourself permission to be who you are, and that is the greatest expression of self-love.

How to meditate to naturalize your emotions

  • Begin by taking a comfortable position. drop your body while also keeping your back straight.
  • It begins by simply being aware of this present moment: the movement of your breath, the sensations in your body, and the sensations you perceive through your senses. Observe.
  • You can take a little deeper breath.
  • Now I invite you to visualize a tree inside of you. It’s an autumn tree and tall, with colored leaves that move naturally with the surrounding wind.
  • Feel how the sensations in your body right now are caused by that movement. Feel how these sensations are for you: perhaps they are intense, it is a stormy day in the surroundings of that tree; or maybe they are more subtle, it’s a calm day.
  • Just observe your sensations from this place, welcoming them like a tree in a natural environment.
  • Feel how your internal sensations move and change as nature constantly moves and changes.
  • AND feel that common life energy passing through nature and through you, as part of that nature. It passes through you in the form of emotions, sensations, feelings, just as it passes through nature through different seasons and weather conditions. See it as such.
  • Feel the beauty of that vital energy passing through you just as you feel nature beautiful. You are the same beautiful energy in different expressions.
  • Give yourself permission to feel the expansion of that beauty in you, to see yourself and your emotions as something precious. Give her space and feel her effect on your body.
  • when you feel it you can start to move and open your eyes, bringing this feeling of beauty to your day.
