Manual of Applied Positive Psychology Exercises (PDF)

This Manual is a very valuable source of resources for professionals who wish to enhance psychological well-being from the scientific framework of Positive Psychology.

Until now we did not have a place to go to find practical exercises in Applied Positive Psychology, which is why it is very useful to have these exercise sheets prepared by the Applied Positive Psychology Group.

One of the strong points of this Manual is that it is based on a strengths model validated in Spain by the Complutense University and the European Institute of Positive Psychology. Having a model created and based on our culture to work on strengths facilitates the understanding and assimilation of the exercises and encourages a faster and more sustained change over time.

Another innovative element is that it responds to an emerging need in Positive Psychology, promoting a balanced use of strengths. As many studies are highlighting, there are strengths that in excess or defect can cause more problems than benefits, as is the case of positivity, which in excess can make us take on more tasks than we can carry out with peace of mind, or when it is in defect It can imply that we dwell too often on the bad things that happen, on the lack and not so much on the benefits.
