How to make tuna mayonnaise, very easy!

Ingredients

for 2 servings

2 small potatoes

2 diced tomatoes

1 can of tuna

10 pitted olives

1/4 of onion

2 hard-boiled eggs

3 tbsp. mayonnaise

1 tbsp. mustard

Splash of lemon juice

Drizzle of olive oil

Salt and pepper

tuna mayonnaise

in 4 simple steps

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Boil them until they are tender. If you want, you can add a splash of vinegar to the water: this will prevent the potatoes from breaking and they will be firmer. But be careful, just a little, otherwise they will taste like vinegar.
  • Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Real tuna mayonnaise doesn’t have tomatoes but I love how it turns out, try it, you won’t regret it.
  • Cut the olives into small pieces and chop the eggs and 1/4 of the onion. If you want it to be softer, you can soak the onion in water before cutting it.
  • Mix all the ingredients on the list until well integrated, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. You can decorate with chopped green onion and place it on lettuce leaves like I did to make it look pretty!
