Watercolor-painted demonic creatures make up the book Wonders of Creation, which also details spells, talismans, spells and nearly 56 illustrations of demons and other creatures. The 1921 text accompanies the images with some statements in Arabic and Farsi (the official Persian language) that cover the period from 1911 to 1921.
The story behind astrological demons
This book is believed to be the second in a series of Persian texts that includes The Book of the Wonders of Creation and The Seventy-Two Demons which, according to Professor Ali Karjoo-Ravary of the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Bucknell, deal with magic and Iranian astrology.
According to the analysis published by Professor Karjoo-Ravary on his blog, “this text describes the different demons associated with each sign of the zodiac, the ailments associated with each one and some remedies.”

According to Karjoo-Ravary, some of the illustrations show demons causing ailments in humans. Likewise, it includes small statements on how to exorcise demons with the help of angels like Gabriel.
