However, in the nutritional analysis of 79 products that we have carried out, we observe that guacamoles provide fewer calories: on average, 154 kcal/100 g compared to 267 kcal/100 g for hummus. Vegetable spreads that are neither guacamole nor hummus provide 157 kcal/100 g of product.

Which is considered healthier?

In general, both hummus and guacamole are considered good as an appetizer, as they have a Nutriscore nutritional rating between A and C. However, Guacamole is, in general, the healthiest spread both for its fiber content and for its composition (almost exclusively fruit). It stands out for its best fat profile, as it has the lowest average saturated fat content, and also the lowest salt content.
