Ballesol Group has opened the doors of its first residential center for the elderly in Mexico, Ballesol Queretaroa complex located in the city of the same name that has a capacity to serve 119 peopleand that once fully operational it will generate approximately 800 direct and indirect jobs.
This opening is the result of an agreement with –representing in Mexico the luxury brand of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group)– which contemplates the opening of four more residences for the elderly over the next five years.
In this sense, both entities agree on the need to serve a segment of the population, since “the population pyramid in Mexico is inverting and the population is growing, besides there are no centers with the level of Ballesol in this country”indicate.
This residence for people over ballesollocated in Corregidora (Querétaro) has 24-hour medical assistance, comprehensive geriatric, psychological, nutrition and rehabilitation assessment, as well as an innovative model in occupational therapy, sociocultural animation and physiotherapy.
It has 110 professionals and various external services to be able to provide “comprehensive care that ensures the well-being and comfort of the elderly in a warm environment and putting humane treatment as the main value,” say those responsible for the new residence.
The official opening of Ballesol Queretaro it took place on October 13 and was attended by more than 200 guests. they did not lack Lola Solerhonorary president of Grupo Ballesol; Ignacio VivasCEO of Grupo Ballesol; Antonio Gonzalez Quirozdirector of Ballesol in Mexico, and Braulio Arsuaga Lozada, CEO of Grupo Presidente. Also in attendance were, among others, the Secretary of Health of the executive branch of the State of Querétaro, Alfredo Gobera Farroand the writer Guadalupe LoaezaBridesmaid.
