Geriatros-SARquavitae will have a new high standing residence for the elderly in the Palma cityspecifically in the central General Riera street, which will have 153 seats and the most modern facilities.
This geriatric center will be located in a building that already housed a residential center for the elderly, managed in its last years by the company, which was owned by the old Sa Nostra and currently belongs to Banco Mare Nostrum.
Geriatros-SARquavitae will be in charge of directing the rehabilitation project and will lease it for the next 35 years, at the end of which you will have an option to purchase. The works, which will begin at the end of this year and will last 18 months, will be directed by Geriatros-SARquavitae and will follow the company’s own architectural model designed to provide the best service and comfort to its users.
The useful area, arranged in five floors in the shape of a semicircle, occupies a total of 7,606.76 m2 and will have terraces for the enjoyment of residents.
The new residence will offer the comprehensive care model that Geriatros-SARquavitae applies in its healthcare network, for which it will have geriatric medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy, socio-cultural animation, catering and laundry services.
This central residence will be the second center in Palma and the company’s sixth in the Balearic Islands, with a joint offer of 790 beds.
