Dying on your birthday may be an unusual event, but science has a very simple answer for this act of destiny. But, if you could decide when to die, would you choose the date of your birth?

But, if it doesn’t matter to you, it is possible for you to flow with your surroundings and not think too much about death. Despite this, a team of researchers from the University of Zurich took the time to analyze the possibilities on your birthday.
And, according to the analysis, it seems that death has a preference for birthdays to which we have not paid much attention. The study carried out by these experts and published in Annals of Epidemiology, refers to the fact that the possibility of dying on your birthday increases by 13.8% compared to the other days of the year.
Why could you die on your birthday?
This means that there is a considerable percentage of dying on the same day you were born, but how is this possible? First, experts detected that deaths linked to a birthday (at least in Switzerland) are linked to cerebrovascular or cardiovascular events.
The most curious thing is that this fact can be explained by the fact that on the birthday a feeling of stress from getting older is released, causing certain effects on the body. In addition, the feast we prepared to celebrate another year of life also counts. Practically, a birthday celebration is like self-sabotage for life itself.
Ultimately, this does not mean that the same thing happens to everyone or that you even postpone your birthday celebrations. Simply put, science discovered that there is a relationship between death and the sensations or activities we experience during our birthday.
