Brownie with dulce de leche, whipped cream and red berries

To enjoy Sunday with the family or any day of the week when we get a sweet treat. Enjoy it!

What do we need?

For the brownie

  • 150 gr of
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 200 gr butter
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/5 kilo of pastry dulce de leche

For coverage

  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries, or the fruits that you like the most.
  • Grated chocolate

Step by Step

Melt the chocolate with the butter in a bain-marie until they are melted and homogeneous.

Beat the eggs with the sugar and add them to the butter and chocolate mixture. Add the flour little by little, stirring with a wooden spoon. Pour into a previously buttered and floured mold so that it does not stick and bake in a moderate oven for 25 minutes.

Remove the brownie when the knife comes out wet and with traces of crumbs. It should not come out dry because this will lose the brownie’s characteristic moisture. Let it cool and distribute the pastry dulce de leche being very careful not to break the brownie. On top of the dulce de leche, add the sweet cream or “chantilly”, also very carefully so that the different layers can be seen and do not mix. Finally, decorate with grated chocolate and red berries, or the fruits you have at home, it looks good with any fruit.

A key tip: Cooking does not have to be overcooked, the brownie should be moist and chocolatey.
