Psychologist Andrés Salgado shares the following tips so that taking care of your sleep is maintained or becomes a habit in your life. Several tasks are simple. Will you do them?
- Get in the sun early for 5 or 10 minutes.
- Bathe with cold water in the morning.
- Don’t eat heavy at night.
- Do not look at your cell phone, computer, tablet or television, at least 1 hour before going to sleep.
- Exercise in the morning.
- Don’t drink coffee after 4 pm.
- Don’t drink a lot of water before sleeping.
- Use warm, dim lights.
- If you bathe at night, use warm or hot water.
- Cool your room, if possible to 18°C.
- Meditate before sleeping.
- Sleep in comfortable clothes.
- Avoid naps.
- Eat healthy.
- Avoid consuming alcohol after 4pm.
- Watch the sunset.
- The bed is only for sleeping.
- Use dark or blackout curtains.
- Sleep 7 to 8 hours.
- Write thoughts before sleeping.
- Wake up at the same time.
- Sleep at the same time.
- Drink coffee only 60 minutes after waking up.
