The Professional Development program in Facial Plastic Surgery is offered to otorhinolaryngology specialists from Colombia and Latin America. This is a 12-month program that consists of 3 4-month long modules where the student will be rotating with each of the directors in the cities of Bogotá and Cali in their offices. During the rotation, the student will be in contact with patients in the office and in operating rooms. The different modules will give fellows exposure to most areas of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery depending on the strengths and competencies of each area director including cosmetic procedures, reconstruction, and minimally invasive procedures. At the end of this program, the professional will be able to diagnose, prevent and treat the different pathologies and alterations of the specialty of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

This program follows the standards established by the International Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery organized by the International Federation of Plastic Surgery Societies (IFFPSS) and at the end of the training our students will be able to take the CPF International Board exam and later apply for the certification of the International Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
