Emotional and metaphysical meaning of the nose

The nose symbolically represents power (the ability or inability to take the lead in personal or social life).

It is related to the recognition I have about myself and my intuition (having a nose for business, smelling a problem from afar, realizing that a matter smells bad).

With personality (the image that one shows of himself), pride, sexuality, curiosity, inspiration and spirituality.

Through the different sizes and variations of the nose we can know some aspects of the human being.

“Carrying the nose high” is a symbol of pride.

It is often said of a person who has a “hawk” nose that they have a very rigorous character and a certain hypocrisy.

If we see a “turned up” nose, it tells us about someone who always goes “on his own terms”.

If it is a long and sharp nose, it warns us of someone who has a tendency to stick their noses everywhere.

A nose covered in “warts” reminds us of the image of the witch, an evil being full of danger.

The slightly curved nose denotes elegance and a “coarse” nose, is synonymous with stubbornness, etc.

The nose can serve as a guide: “be guided by smell”.

Or to meet someone and gain confidence, “sniff, sniff”.

The nose represents our intuition, “to have a nose for business”, “to smell a problem from afar”, to realize that a “matter stinks”.

The nose warns us about lying or telling the truth, as in the Pinocchio story.

It is also related to curiosity, as when one “sticks his nose in someone else’s business”

In the same way, he can talk to us about rejection, “I’m fed up” with “that stinky guy”, etc.
